Hello, everyone. I hope all is well and that you're having a great day.
Within the last few weeks, I noticed that ever time I click on the 'Volume Icon', the "Connect Device Selection" page rolls in. (See Picture on Left).
I think the idea is solid, but I personally have no use for it. Therefore, I find it very obtrusive every time I change the volume of the song I'm listening to, which is a lot, especially while shopping in public.
I even tried downgrading the app version to 8.x, 7.x, and even 6.x. It is still there.
Is there a way where I can deactive the "Connect" setting so I can return to something like the photo on the right?
My phone is an iPhone 4, running iOS 6.1.3
Thank you and have a good day.

Sorry, but there is no way to turn off the "connect" feature.
The best way to change the volume without any mess is to use the volume buttons on the side of the iPhone.

Thank you, Matt. I am disappointed in the answer, but perhaps I'll file a feedback report.
Also, out of curiosity, since the option appears to be within most of versions of the app I reinstalled (8.x, .7.x), is it safe to assume the original function of having the "volume bar slider" is still withint he app, but deactivated?
I'm not sure exactly when, but the connect feature was added to the volume slider sometime in the fall of 2013.
I'm not sure if installing older versions will get it back.
