Volume Control stopped working on Marantz M-CR611 after some time

Solved!

Volume Control stopped working on Marantz M-CR611 after some time

If I use the Spotify App on my iPhone and listen music on the device Marantz M-CR611 by Spotify connect I can control the volume for some time immediately after start playing. I still can control the music (skip title, pause, resume, play something else) but the volume cannot be controlled anymore, regardless if using the slider bar, or the hardware buttons. The display pops-up the device symbol when controlling the volume level and shows and changes it's percentage but it doesn't change the volume on the receiver.

If I use some other devices like my Denon AVR I can control the volume normally without any issues.

Any idea how to solve that?

Hi there @tnuetz,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

Can you try logging out, restarting your phone and your audio receiver, and logging back in? If that doesn't make any difference, try restarting your router by unplugging it from power for a few seconds.

Also, make sure that your audio device's firmware is up to date.

Keep us posted on how it goes. We'll be on the lookout.
