Why are devs ruining what once was a great application? You don’t like Spotify anymore?

Why are devs ruining what once was a great application? You don’t like Spotify anymore?

Just want to know if you plan to let users browse saved songs by artists again in iOS UI.

if it’s not going back I m canceling my subscription and going to Apple Music or Google music.

spotfy once was a great application but devs are making huge effort to ruin the app.

by the way I just don’t want follow every artist I have saved only one song. I don’t want another annoying social media. I hate social media’s with all my soul. I just want to hear music.

thank you

Hey @Frdvp1,

Thanks for your post.

If you think other users might also like to have the option to sort their music by Artist on iOS again, go ahead and create an idea on the relevant idea board. We always take new ideas and feedback into consideration to improve the app. Here you can read more on how ideas work.

We also suggest checking this help article for useful tips on how to submit an idea. As a heads-up, it's good to know that the higher the number of votes an idea gets, the more likely it is for the idea to be implemented.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any more questions.

This is one of countless issues following the same pattern: Spotify takes away functionality, ignores user complaints, and provides no explanation where the improvement would be or what their reasoning is.

Ideas with thousands of votes have been shrugged off, while the devs spend time and effort to clip away search and sorting functionality bit by bit.
