Why can't I see older podcast episodes all of a sudden?

So far, this is only happening with one podcast that I often listen to and is quite popular: Savage Lovecast. I've been listening to a lot of older episodes but - all of a sudden - a couple days ago I was scrolling back to find unplayed old episodes, but the app wouldn't let me scroll back past episode 783, as if that's the earliest episode available (except I KNOW that its not since I had already listened to a ton of episodes in the 600s before this started happening!)

I’m wondering this too!! They’re still available on his website but I like listening through the Spotify app. Same thing in my podcast app 😓

Ok so I'm glad I'm not going crazy & it's not just me 😅 I've searched on multiple social media platforms and can't find anyone else talking about this!! (kinda surprising since it's quite a popular podcast, I would assume that some other people are also trying to listen to older episodes)

However, I noticed yesterday after posting this that all the episodes before 783 are also missing from the Apple podcasts app - so it seems that this isn't just an issue with Spotify. Dan hasn't mentioned it anywhere (including in the most recent episode that came out since noticing this issue), as far as I've seen. I would assume that if he decided to remove all older episodes (for whatever reason??), he'd announce it or something.

If this issue isn't limited to the Spotify app, we'd suggest reaching out to the podcast creator to find out what happened with the older episodes.

This is a Spotify issue. Please remedy this. I need Savage Lovecast!!! I was in the 100s when I see now, it's not just me, I can get to anything before episode 783. Other podcasts that have years old episodes do not have any missing. Ugh, come thru Spotify!

happening to me on all platforms (Chrome, desktop app and iOS) for Risky Business.  How can we fix this?
