earphone volume low iphone 7

hi using earphones on a wired connection to iphone 7 and having problems with the sound, i have to turn the volume to at least half way to be able to hear anything and at full volume the sound still seems low and lacking, i have tried on friends phones and tablets, with a noticeable difference in volume, could this be the app on my phone or the phone its self ?

I have the same issue, have you worked anything out, why this is happening?

Having the same problem... not just with spotify though. Apple music app is the same.

Has to be the headphones / iPhones jack because now using my Bluetooth headphones the sound is great. Still no solution though, unless getting replacement x
