My Question or Issue
I am attaching screenshot, controls for selecting another device are not visible
because of that two info messages, which I cannot hide nor scroll down.
It would be nice to be able to hide or scroll that info messages, to have more space to display actual controls on that screen, or maybe better to reorder that screen so important controls are displayed first.
thanks
Hey there @tyctor,
Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.
Could you let us know if this started happening after a specific event such as an update? Also, just to confirm, could you swipe away the volume bar?
We suggest that you try running a clean reinstall of the app to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble.
Keep us posted.

yes, i can swipe volume bar.

reinstalled, but this issue still persists
but what I see, there are more versions of that screen, I am adding version without `Others can start or join a Jam`
where I am able to click on `Select another device AirPlay or Bluetooth`
and also text `Allow spotify to access your local network...` is there even if this is enabled in settings
Hey @tyctor,
Thanks for the reply 🙂
Does swiping up the screen reveal more of the presented options?
Regardless if this is the case though, if you're trying to use the Connect function to select another device over Wi-Fi, it would be displayed where you see the 'Play on your devices' panel. I believe some other setting needs to be enabled on your end for this to work - could you send us a screenshot of what you see when you click on 'Go to Settings'?
Much appreciated!
Does swiping up the screen reveal more of the presented options?
no, swiping not show hidden options on bottom
here is screenshot from screen after `Go to Settings`
Thanks for the screenshot @tyctor!
Just to check, does your WiFi connected devices appear on other apps that you have installed on your phone? Should they not appear, it's worth restarting your router (and relink any speakers), to see if you notice a difference.
If possible, could you ask a friend or a family member to log in to their own Spotify account on your phone, to see if they experience the same thing?
Also, to make sure we cover all bases, could you double-check if there are any updates available for your device's operating system? You can do so by following the steps on this page from Apple.
Keep us posted on how you get on!
thanks for reply

I am not using any devices linked to my wifi network,
but message on screen is "Allow Spotify to access your local network..." and that is enabled in settings...

On every our Iphone SE device it is same and we have latest sw update for system and Spotify app.
I think that problem is simple: such old Iphone SE has resolution (1136 × 640 pixel resolution, 326 ppi, aspect ratio 16:9) for which Spotify app is not optimised anymore.
can you send me which resolutions are supported by your iOS Spotify application?
Is there anything new in this issue?
Isn't it time to admit that the application does not work 100% for customers with older devices?
Hey @tyctor,
We're currently looking into this and will keep you posted as soon as we have any updates? Could you just share the exact version of Spotify you're running?
Cheers 🤘
sure, it is 8.9.68.490
I have been having this same issue ever since I switched back to Spotify. My iPhone tells me to enable Local Network, but it is enabled. Meanwhile options for external devices are missing or pushed off the screen where I can't access them.
I would really like to hear when a solution comes along because this is annoying.
Hey folks,
@tyctor, thanks for sending over this info.
@petercs2, can you let us know your device model, OS version and Spotify version?
Cheers,
any news on this?

Hey folks,
Thank you for your messages.
We receive some information from the relevant teams mentioning that the issue was investigated and it will be fixed in a future release. We don't have a specific time when this will happen, but it will be soon. So we'd recommend keeping your app updated to be aware of any improvements coming your way.
We really appreciate your patience and cooperation regarding this.
Cheers.
