iOS - set music widget default to spotify

Hi, 

one thing that has bugged me for years is that the music widget in control centre only activates after spotify has been opened through other means first.

Is there a way to set the music widget default app to Spotify? Right now when you press the widget, it asks me to reinstall music, which I don’t want to do!

Could you try setting Spotify as the default music app on your phone to see if that does the trick?

If it doesn't, we'd recommend that you reach out directly to Apple support. The folks there can look into this further and give you more information about it.
