Hey folks, as iOS 9 is still in beta we don't officially support it just yet. We'll pass this on to our devs though.

Hello & welcome to the Community!

I'm afraid nothing can be done right now since iOS 9 isn't an official update for iOS devices.

All you can do now is wait. Maybe a future realease fixes the crash issue.

Hope this helps! โ™ซ

It's not iOS 9. I have it on my iPad and iPhone - no problems at all.

Try deleting the app and re-installing. Then do a soft reset of your iPad.

Do you have iOS 9 on you devices?

Updated Spotify yesterday, and every time I open the app it crashes within seconds. The update has made the app completely useless for me.

iPhone 5

iOS 9.0 (13A4305g)

Spotify 3.6.0

I appreciate that the latest release may not be fully compaitble with iOS 9 yet, but at least the previous version wasn't crashing every time I opened the app. I'm unsure whether or not I can downgrade now, but if I can't then I'll likely have to move over to Apple Music for the time being as the Spotify App won't even stay open now.

No issues with Spotify and iOS 9.0 on the iPad Mini 2 or iPhone 6 Plus or iPad Air for me. That's the risk you take with Beta software.

Mind you, this iOS 9 is a Public Beta with under the hood enhancements shouldn't be causing any huge compatibility issues. For me, I have around 100 Apps - they ALL work.

Maybe try erasing App, hard reset, and re-installing.

Yup - iOS 9 on iPad Air, iPad Mini and iPhone 6 Plus. No issues on any apps on any devices for me.

I confirm that the last update (3.6.0.923) makes the app crash when a music is played on iOS 9 (IPad Mini) however reinstalling the app solved the crash.

P.S It did not crash on iOS 9 before this update.

Nayd: Original iPad Mini? Which model? On the iPad Mini 2 Cellular, no issues.

Imgrund: It's an iPad2,5
