iPad dumb question...re: queue and buttons

iPad dumb question...re: queue and buttons

Hello,

i downloaded spotify premium to my iPad and iPhone and it seems quite good...

Questions.

figured out the first one ....

2. When it shows the artist and has the play buttons beside it I get the play button and fast forward rewind buttons....what do the swirly lines that are separated and the swirly lines that are joined do?  When I hit the swirly arrow lines  it goes green....when I hit it again it shows a number1.  What does this mean?

3. How exactly does the queuing work and how long does the queued list last for?  I think it used to show me a blue dot beside the track maybe that was on my iPhone?

thanks from an old timer ,

Hi,

the swirly arrows that are joined is the "repeat" button. When you tap it and it goes green that means "repeat" is on and the album or playlist you're listening to will repeat once it's finished.  When you tap it again and it has the number one on it, that means "repeat one song", so the one song you are listening to when you tap it will repeat when it's finished.

the swirly arrows that are not joined is "shuffle", so any playlist or album you are listening to will play in random order.

When you are playing an album or playlist and queue a song, it will play next, if you queue another track it will play after that one, and so on. Once your queued tracks have finished, it will go back to your original playlist or album.

hope that helps!

Thank you so much....make sense now, for the buttons anyway and now for the queue on the iPhone.

thanks,

Glad to have helped. I'm afraid I don't know anything about blue dots on queued tracks. I explained it how I see it working. Maybe someone else will know.

cheers,
