My Question or Issue

Currently, Spotify does not support iPhone 12 resolution / screen size. Hence, Spotify interface is exactly the same as 5.8-inch iPhone X, Xs and 11 Pro on the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 but everything is stretched out to fill the bigger display. Therefore, everything looks bigger. Please add iPhone 12 screen size support ASAP.

First, let's try a clean reinstall to see if the screen resolution gets back on track. Steps on how to do this can be found here. 

If that doesn't work - I'll pass your feedback on to the right folks. Since the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro have different screen sizes and were recently released, Spotify is working on getting the app optimized for those devices. You can always add a new Idea about this here.

I am using the new iPhone 12 Pro Max and everything looks pretty good but it's a little bigger than normal and not entirely optimized for the new 6.7 inch screen.

From past experience it takes Spotify a few months after the new phones come out to update the app for the new iPhone sizes. Make sure you keep the app up to date and be on the lookout for future support for the new iPhone 12 sizes.

The Spotify app now supports the iPhone 12 screen sizes.

Make sure your app is updated to version 8.6.10

Hello, I have an iPhone 12 and the UI, like artist/playlist names, is often cut off by the notch. My father has an iPhone X which seems to have a UI optimized around its screen size. Is it possible to get this for the iPhone 12?

Could you attach some screenshots or a short screen recording of the issue, so we can have a better look at what you mean? Also as @MattSuda pointed out above, iPhone12 screen sizes should be supported, so please make sure you are running the latest available version of the Spotify app. It's worthwhile to perform a clean reinstall of the app, as this is more thorough than the normal one and ensures that no cached data will cause interference with the new installation of your app.
