iPhone X - potential bug report

iPhone X - potential bug report

Hey all - not sure if this is the right place for bugs but here we go -

if I’m listening on Spotify, on an iPhone X, I then go to record and send an ‘animoji’ It pauses playback to record the audio for the Animoji, but then when you resume, there is playback but no audio until I quit Spotify and restart it. This is with both Bluetooth devices and inbuilt playback.

Anyone else experienced this or can verify?

I've noticed this same behavior whenever the music is paused for another app to take over (phone calls, maps, other music). Have to quit and restart Spotify to play music again.

Yes I'm having the same issue and it is driving me insane! How do we report it or whatever we have to do to get it fixed?

I’ve decided I’m leaving Spotify for Apple Music, the fact that they’ve had so long to prepare an app for a major release like the iPhone X and they just haven’t done it is frankly appalling.

If anyone from Spotify is reading this - it’s shameful and considering other much smaller apps with far less revenue coming in had this on DAY ONE, it’s laughable.

See ya later

I did the same move after years with Spotify...

It's a shame, I actually get Apple Music FOR FREE from my workplace, and yet I still chose to pay for Spotify because I honestly think it's better and yet here I am.

Same here...really frustrating.

Been a Spotify user since the Swedish betaprogram. But I'm leaving if this isn't fixed next week. I don't really think Apple cares about Spotifys war with Apple, all it is doing is annoying paying customers, and driving them to Apple Music.

Just cancelled my subscription again. I pay 10€ an month and they can’t even support my device.... same story as with the iPad years ago
