Hi there and welcome to the community!

Here's how you get your local files from your computer to your phone:

+ Start Spotify on your computer and create a playlist for your local files

+ Add the local files you want to that playlist

+ Open Spotify on your phone (you'll need to be connected to the same wifi as your computer, and Spotify needs to be running on your computer as well.

+ Find your newly created playlist on your phone. The tracks will be greyed out so you'll need to check the Available Offline button. Once you hit that, the local files will be downloaded to your phone.

Hope this helps!

Hi, I've had basically the same problem and done exaclty what you suggested and most of the files get made avaialble for offline but there are some songs (it seems to be the ones that Spotify can match to those in it's library but sometimes it does some and othertimes it doesn't so it seems just random) that just won't be made avialable offline?(see screenshot) I have deleted and re-downloaded the app but it hasn't changed anything other than wasted the 3 hours it took to download them all in the firstplace...Any help?

I sorted my problem out. Using the firewall solution.
