new update, how do i shuffle on my phone?

My Question or Issue

 I click shuffle play on my playlists, but it doesn’t shuffle. Before the new update (that constantly tells me to pay for premium, which can be disruptive to my enjoyable music experience), it would work just fine. Now every time I click it, my playlists play in order. Please help.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstallation of the appreinstall. Just follow the steps here.
