one song won’t play on my device.

My Question or Issue

Theres one single song off an entire album that won’t play on my account. The whole album will play and then come to a complete stop when this song is supposed to play, it doesn’t even automatically skip it or anything. It stops like i have no connection but when i try another song, it works perfectly. This song is actually one of my favorite songs and is very important to me but i hate having to go to other applications just to listen to it. I even have the song downloaded, so it’s definitly not a connection problem.

Could you send us the song's URI or link? Also, does the same happen if you use other devices with the same Spotify account?

If the same happens on other devices, and the song never plays, it might not be available on Spotify anymore.

The song will play on other devices on the same account, i believe the
artist and his music was removed at one point but i added the song to a
playlist before that and to another one after his music was restored to
make sure it could work from the same link. When it didnt work i tried on
other devices and a few of the go to repairs, reinstalling spotify, logging
out, etc.

Thanks for getting back to us with this information.

I just tried playing this song and it worked like a charm.

As you said, this artist's content was removed and added back to Spotify, so let's try removing the song from your playlist and adding it again straight from the album, to see if it helps.

i have this song in one of my playlist and it works perfectly fine.

It may have just been removed or spotify was glitching as my friend had the same problem where the song in her playlist was working and when it got to that song it either stopped playing any songs or it skipped the song and went to a different song without the song getting played.

Just try to remove it from playlist and adding it back into the playlist 🙂
