My "available offline" feature is not working. A month ago, it worked quite smoothly when downloading a playlist to my iPhone. Now, after adding additional songs to my playlist, I am attempting to re-sync the playlist to my iPhone.
After shifting the toggle to "Available Offline", it goes one by one down the playlist with the "download" circle, however, it never turns green showing that it has been successful. A couple of times it has gone extremely quickly down the list of songs leaving them with no red, no green, no indicator whatsoever. Another time, it turned one of them into a red excalmation point and then went quickly down the list, not affecting any of the other songs.
I am extremely frustrated because I pay for Spotify Premium almost entirely for the "Available Offline" feature in order to listen to my music on the go without internet connection. If this feature doesn't work, I would really hesitate to pay another month for this subscription.
Can anyone help??

I think I found the solution to this problem. I have an iPhone 5 and was experiencing the same issue somehow the offline mode was disabled and because i never enabled it in the first place i wasn't aware that turning it off was even an option. Maybe it reset when I finally updated the new OS for the phone who knows.
Go to Settings > Playback > then swipe on "offline mode"
Hope this works for you!

MIne was working fine for almost a year now and JUST STOPPED working this last week. What the heck Spotify? HELP!
Hey guys,
Here's a few additional questions that might help with this:
Are you syncing local files or regular catalogue tracks?
How much space do your iPhones have available?
Are you syncing over WiFi or 3G? If WiFi, is it a home/private network?
Private wifi. space availabke. stuff from spotify catalog.

It's not ideal but reinstalling Spotify from the App Store might do the trick, if you haven't already. It'll mean needing to re-sync any playlists that are saved for offline use though.
I have the above issue where the available offline feature has suddenly stopped working on my iphone 5 (has worked perfectly for the last year!). I have tried re-installing, changing the file size, re-syncing with no success. Can you help?
Your iphone shows under "devices" in the desktop client? What actually happens when you tap the "available offline" button on the iphone?
It shows them as downloaded, but nothing plays when you hit the play button.
I have Spotify Premium and using a samsung mini s4
My playlists are showing as downloaded and offline but dont play unless im connected to the internet. Can anyone help please?
Was there a solution to this problem? I'm currently experiencing this issue and it is a pain in my a**!
