"Search Failed..." on IPod Touch 3G.

Hello. I've got really big problem with spotify on my IPod Touch 3G. For a few days Spotify app can not work properly on my device. When I want to search artist, track, album in the app, I receive a message "Search Failed. This search failed, please try again later." Few days before my app crashed totally, I had problem that my search button were not responding. I had to restart Spotify and then i could search properly. Now I can't even try it again, because it doesn't help anymore.

I tried to delete an app and then reinstall it again, few times but it didn't help.

I erased all data and I restarted system - settings. It didn't help.

I was looking for a help in community but everything what I found didn't help - like reinstalling and reset of the system.

Also, I delated Spotify app from my windows PC, I did log into the app on my mate's account - search feature still doesn't work.

I really don't know what I am supposed to do now. I've tried almost everything.

IMPORTANT: I have premium, and Spotify works good on my PC. IPod touch 3G is updated to iOs 5.1.1, which is the last possible system on this device. When I want to download this from AppStore, Receive a message that for a current version of app is needed iOS 7. And then I can only download older version - 0.7.2.26 which was really good... until now 😞

PS. I have no problem with saved playlists, because I can go online, even on Ipod Touch.

I discovered this problem a day ago also, on an older iPod touch but which had given reliable service with Spotify up until now (sonos functionality went long ago!). No updates performed and can still search on same Premium account on iPad. Without being able to search it renders both iPod and Spotify largely redundant. Any ideas what has happened and whether full functionality will or can be restored?

Hi.
Suffer the same error. Unable to find music.
I feel the same with an iPhone 4S with iOS 6.1.3.
Spotify for iOS version 0.6.4
I pay for the premium service every month 10 US dollars.
Also I have a problem with the "What's New" tab, where the "successes" and "new music" were shown. It is loading forever and fails.
