Hello... I can't login to spotify on my iPhone. It says "Login failed - you've already created an account with this email address", which is nonsensical because I'm that's the account I'm trying to login to. This has happened before but I reinstalled the app and could login. This time, I've reinstalled the app several time, but no avail. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the fact that I opened this account in Belgium but have since moved back to the US.

 

Impatient and disgusted by this. Might have to switch to Apple radio, or whatever that new Apple thing is.

 

Any ideas?

Can you contact support (1) please?

 

They usually reply within 1-2 days.
You'll get an automated reply email, on which you need to reply back.

I have the same. Is Spotify support responding?

I have the same problem. When I try to log in with Facebook it says I've already created an account with this email.

I am having the same problem has anyone gotten it fixed yet?

I had this problem too, but then realised the phone app was asking for my SPOTIFY USERNAME - rather than my email address. If you cant remember your usename, log in to the spotify website with your email address and it displays your username in the top right corner of the page or you can see it in your account settings. Try using this rather than your email address to log in to the phone app.

Yeah,mine is ok now..it's not asking for your email it's asking for your username
Try that. It'll probably work.

That's a pretty stupid problem for the app to have and rediculous that Spotify isn't fixing it. How many people have to have trouble before they squash the bug? I paid for Premium and was ready to cancel the account.

Im having this problem too.  Its like the app is confused and does not understand that there is a difference between the login and sign up buttons

Same thing with me. I had a android. It broke. Now i have a iphone until its fixed. I have renstalled the app so many stinkin times i am beyond frustrated and tired of trying. Nothing works!!!:(( i have thousands of songs i miss listening to it realy upsetting!! I emailed them ans do everything they say and nothings working

I feel your frustration. When the last iOS update happened this problem resolved for me. The one thing I will say is that their customer service kept into touch while I tried all the fixes and even gave me a test account to figure things out. Keep On with it. B

You must type in your USERNAME not your email

This was the fix I needed. THANK YOU! Make sure you're using USERNAME instead of email ADDRESS, which is wicked confusing since my username is my email address without the @email part. Jeepers. Thanks Spotify for f*cking my brain for a month.

intried username , email re install the app as well.

the only other place I'm using Spotify is on Sonos 

but none of my devices are allowing me to log onto Spotify through the app...?

i have a premium account so what do I do?
