spotify iphone app issues

Hi, 

 

I have the spotify app (premium version) "Version 3.7.0" on my iphone 5 and over the last few days, the App has been crashing every time I open the app. 

Interestingly, the songs are playing when they connect to my car's bluetooth, but if I want to change the song and I open the app, the app crashes. This happened numerous number of times over the weekend and last few days. 

I even deleted the app, and reinstalled it, swithced off and turned on the phone - but still the same problem. 

 

I was driving over the weekend and had planned to listen songs but I had to turn to youtube and radio. 

 

Please help

I'm so sorry I didn't see that you said that. When you turn the device off do do you do a clean start up or a do you just press the shutter button if it's the latter then you can do a clean start up that deleted the cache of the device and hopefully fices the problem by pressing the top button and the home button until you see the apple logo.

Reinstall the app a error might have occured during installation.

As I mentioned in my post - I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app already.

When you turn the device off do do you do a clean start up or a do you just press the shutter button if it's the latter then you can do a clean start up that deleted the cache of the device and hopefully fices the problem by pressing the top button and the home button until you see the apple logo.

Hey there @Rollingstar35!

Just as @Liutorlas suggested, a full clean reinstallation might fix your issue.

 

To perform one, just follow these steps: 

  1. On the home screen, tap and hold the Spotify icon until it shakes.
  2. Tap the X symbol on the icon.
  3. Hold the Home and Power buttons down together until the Apple logo appears.
  4. Open the App Store then search for and install the Spotify app.
