spotify won´t accept my username and password even though it´s correct

spotify won´t accept my username and password even though it´s correct

since this morning I´m unable to log into my account, neither on my phone or my laptop. Everytime I try log in spotify says that either my password or username is incorrect even though I know that its correct for sure. I also can´t just change my password because I don´t know what email I used to create my account but I do remember my Username which normally wasn´t a problem to log in with. I really want to at least be able to cancel my Premium subscription since I´m not my paying for not being able to get any access to my account. Also this account that I´m posting this on now obviously isn´t my real account just one that I made myself now so I can be able to reach someone here since there´s no telophone number to call for any support. Really hope I can get some help. thanks.

Hi jette,

Did you have any facebook account linked with the account you are trying to get into? If so click on the log in with facebook and see if it works. If you didn't have an account linked to facebook, I would suggest going through all your email accounts known to you and seeing if you can find a change password email from spotify (Assuming you have already clicked forgot password) If that is not an option, I think the best you can do is leave your old account's username for any admins to help you reset.

I already went through all my email accounts I can possibly think of but none of them was the one I used apparently.. but thank you and yes I might actually have to reset my account then. How can I do that though?

Im sorry I won't be able to do much in the case of resetting your account but an admin should be able to. You can try this link to report it to the support staff;

Provide them with your old account's username and an email that you can be reached at. Before doing this, I would suggest looking through your s*p*a*m or junk folder in the emails you checked as some email filters put any emails with links in the s*p*a*m folder.
