My Question or Issue

Requesting features may get a voting started, but nothing ever gets implemented. Since 2019 there has been a request to finally enable Crossfade, Volume Normalization and Gapless playback etc. through Spotify Connect with Wi-Fi speakers, which the majority of people use nowadays. That function still is limited to bluetooth which often has inferior quality. We pay a lot for a Premium Subscription and don’t understand why you would limit the functionality of Spotify like that.

I know this is not the first post about this topic and I've already participated in the vote (https://community.spotify.com/t5/Live-Ideas/Connect-Crossfade-on-Spotify-Connect/idi-p/1337085#_=_) but nothing has happened since 2019.
