Account Countries Mismatch

I live in Japan, however my credit card is linked to my USA bank account and address. I have signed up for Prime Duo, however my partner cannot accept the invite because their country or region automatically sets to Japan. Considering it is near impossible for non-Japanese citizens to get a Japanese issued credit card, I am not able to update my payment with a Japanese based credit card. Is there a work around?

Keep in mind that if your account is set to a different country, your partner won't be able to join the plan because both countries need to match in order to do so. 

We understand that this won't be possible at the moment, but the only thing we can suggest is that you update your payment method to one that's been issued in the country where you live. This way your partner will be able to join your plan and enjoy the Premium benefits.
