Account Disabled - Support Unresponsive

I am submitting from my personal account. The email address that i use for my professional podcast is associated with what seems to be a disabled account. Spotify support reps ended support chats even though i provided proof of the associated email ownership. It is suddenly unavailable and log-in/password reset shows inaccurately that the email is not associated with a Spotify account. Please assist.

My account just disappeared without any explanation or e-mails towards me. Just got logged out of every device one day and when I tried to login, it said that e-mail is not connected to any Spotify account. Keep in mind no e-mails or notifications from spotify. Customer service kept closing my chats without a proper response.

My Question or Issue

Hello Spotify community,

I have created this account to be able to create this message thread on Spotify community. I have issue with my origin premium account. The story is that few days ago I couldn't login to my premium Spotify account. I thought maybe something is wrong with my password. I decided to reset the password, but it showed me that no account is linked with my email address. I decided to register once again, but if I would like to register with my origin email it says that account with such an email address exists.

 

I tried to contact Spotify support, but without no luck. People on the chat just close the chat without any help. I was no able to resolve anything with the chat support. I tried to send 3 times email to **bleep**, but no one has ever responded back to me,.

 

My current situation is that I should still have valid spotify premium, but instead of it I don't have access to my spotify premium account at all.

 

I can provide my email address, order id with transaction id.

 

If there is anyone else who can help me, I will highly appreciate your help as I am lost.

This is exactly what happened to me a few days ago as well. I was logged out of  my usual account, I tried to enter my login details but was told they were wrong. Assumed as well my password was wrong as I haven't used it in ages. Tried to change my password and was told the email I used didn't exist. I contacted Spotify Support, spoke to 7 advisors (one of which described themselves as 'a higher level of support'). All seemed to be initially willing to help with my issue but all abruptly ended the conversations with no reason or explanation as to why. It is very frustrating as I also pay for premium which I can prove through bank statements. I have managed to block the subscription from my bank but this will only last a maximum of 13 months. However this is all I can do as I don't have access to the account to cancel my subscription and the "support" Spotify apparently provides is nonexistent.

 

Still awaiting some sort of response from Spotify, which I hope will be coming as this seems like an issue various people are experiencing.

I have been a Premium user for over 4 years now and usually login with facebook. I was logged out of my account on Friday December 6 with no way to access it. When I try to login with my username, it says that no account exists with that username.
When I try to login with the email address I originally created the account with, it redirects me to an empty free account

After over 10 attempts with advisors who would not help me and just end the chat, one advisor tells me my account is locked due to fraudulent activity, which means someone took over and changed the login details so I can't access it anymore. 
I have sent several emails to Spotify Support to no response whatsoever

Would it be possible for Spotify Support to help me retrieve my account?
If not, would it be possible to end the premium subscription on the original account and help me transfer subscription and data (Playlists and Downloads) to a new account?

I am currently experiencing the EXACT same thing. Also tried sending emails to Spotify Support to no response. My public playlists still exist but looking at my profile through another account, I can't see my playlist and no way to see my likes/downloads to import them elsewhere

Hello, I am made to post here because all channels failed.

 

To reiterate the issue, I have not been able to log into or reset the password to my account since December 7th, 2024. I have been on an Individual Premium plan. When I tried to log in, the app and the website said that “This email address or username is not linked to a Spotify account”.

 

A customer representative called Hasnath on the Spotify website told me to contact this support email.

 

I did, four times now. No reply.

 

Today A customer representative called Laxmi said she/he will review, and the ended the conversation without reply.

 

Then a customer representative called Jones did the same. Jones was looking at the wrong account and thought I was on a trial account. He left without addressing the issue.

 

Then a customer representative called Abraham A did the same. He vanished without replying. 

 

Then a customer representative called Maira P said "I'm afraid this isn't something customer service can help with. Unless you have a technical or payment issue, I'll be ending this conversation." She left without telling me where I could find help.

 

This is all way too frustrating given that I have been using Spotify for years and have had it on Premium for so long.

 

I simply want my account and library back. I am happy pay for Premium, I always have. Just do not delete my account while Premium is still valid.

 

Please help.

My Question or Issue

I cannot login my account and I found out my email address was changed to unknown email. Then I reach out to Spotify Support Chat, advisors ask me to send emails to Support Team to get my account back and I follow what they suggest. After sending 3 emails and waiting for 5 days and talking to 10+advisors, they told me my account has security issues and cannot reactivate. 

 

I have been used this account for more that 5 years and I am the only user and the payment is linked to my personal bank account. They did not ask me any evidence to show the payment. Start from “Don’t worry, we’ll help you recover your account.” to 

“Your account has security issues, so we suggest you create a new one.” and rudely closed my conversation. 

 

I could create a new account, but I need my playlists which have precious memory. I asked if they could help me retrieve my previous playlists. However, they refused and said they could not provide any assistance.Ironically, they charge me this month subscription and ban my account at the same time. Based on the above experience, how should I trust Spotify will keep my account safe and not randomly ban my 'new account' one day? 

 

I am not sure how to get my account or playlists back. 

I was experienced the exact same thing. Cannot Login in -> Email does not exist -> Reach out Support Advisors and Send emails to Support Team -> No response from email and advisor closed my conversation window. 

I was told my account has security issues and cannot activate. They told me to create a new account and lose all my playlists. They do not even try to prove my ownership of the account or try to help me retrieve the playlists. 

Cannot login even after providing correct login credentials.

My Question or Issue

Attempting to login I am told my username or login is incorrect. ( I know the details are accurate as I use a password manager).

Forget password says I must create account as the email is not linked to an account.
Trying to create a new account it says "This address is already linked to an existing account. To continue, log in."

I havn't used Spotify since 2019 so I trust its simply my account has been de-activated for inactivity? If this is the case I am unable to re-activate it so to speak and kindly request assistance in navigating this issue.

I once had an account with my icloud e-mail address, but while logging in it says that username/password don‘t match. When I want to reset the password, it says that the e-mail does not exist. When I want to register a new account, it says the e-mail is already taken. What can I do? I really want to use this e-mail address.
