My Question or Issue

Account disabled


As I was listening to music I get kicked off thinking someone logged me out across all platforms and that I got hacked. As soon as I check my email I realize this is not the case. My account has been disabled.


I have tried contacting Spotify through their messaging system but to no avail. I have talked with 6 separate agents all escalating the problem to a “specialized team” for this but it seems not even they could help me. The most help I’ve received from them was to contact Spotify support who had sent the email. It’s been awhile since i’ve contacted through email with no response.


I’ve been using Spotify for years now and have accumulated a lot of likes across many playlists with thousands and thousands of liked songs. I really hate to see all that just gone in a second.


I feel there has been a misunderstanding and I have no clue why my account has been disabled. Is there anyway I can get it enabled again?


No other place has been much help so Im reaching out to you guys to help me solve this problem and who to go to who will actually help me. Thank you for reading.

Sorry to hear that your account has been disabled and you weren't able to get it resolved by our customer support teams.

 

Unfortunately, from our end we can't access your Spotify account and see what has happened and why it was disabled. 

 

It could be disabled due to suspicious activity or if you've been abroad for more than 14-days on the free tier.

 

To be honest your best bet would be to try contacting the support teams via email again. Make sure to check your spam/ junk folder for a reply from them. Note that sometimes it may take them a few days to reply, depending on the volume of incoming contacts. 

 

Since you've said that your issue has been escalated, it might take them more time to reply if they need to investigate your case in more detail.

I have emailed them multiple times and have waited for a reply for days. Is there any way you could check or fix this for me?

We're not able to check these things backstage. However they will get back to you. Sometimes it could take a little bit longer than usual depending on how many contacts they have. For now we recommend that you keep an eye out for their reply in your inbox and spam/junk folder.
