Account/Public Playlists not searchable

Account/Public Playlists not searchable

Any idea why my profile which is active and in good standing does not appear when I search for it? None of my public playlists show up in search either. Some are uniquely named and should be easy to find. This account is a premium subscription and has been active for almost 6 months. It is not connected to my Facebook account.

I have another account which is disabled but does show up which I thought is strange.

Hey @MCA94,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

Not all profiles and playlists show up in Search right away, it depends on many factors such as the follower count, amount of listeners, etc. 🙂

I hope this clears things up.

@Maxim Thanks for the reply. My account and playlists have been active for almost 6 months. Not sure how you are supposed to gain followers if your account/playlists are not searchable.

@MCA94,

You can use the URI/URL to share your profile and playlists: https://support.spotify.com/article/share-from-spotify/.

While it might play a role how long an account has existed for, it is not the only factor that matters when it comes to appearing in Search.
