Account stolen

Account stolen

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but long story short it turns out that Spotify was billing some random person for my premium account for over 3 years without my knowledge. That person eventually noticed and reported it to Spotify, who has disabled my account. They won’t restore it without the express permission of whatever random person they accidentally billed, even if I myself wish to pay for the account. Does anyone know what I can do about this? They gave my account to someone else without my consent and won’t give it back.

Just for your information, they typically reply within 24-48 hours by email.
