Hi - my son Tyler Smith turned me onto Spotify and I never had to pay for it - he did on a premium account.  Now it will not l eg me play as it says I kdid not pay?  I never had to pay and I feel embarrased asking him if he did not pay or if he cancelled it.  I am Sue Smth and I belive I log in as Sammy9471.  not sure if you canhelp me but I do not want to downgrade and get commercials.  ****************  Sue Smith.

Spotify premium accounts are intended for a single user use only; however they have the Premium for Family subscription. I recommend you to speak with your son and ask him he did! 

 

If you already have a Premium for Family subcription then he will have to add you (with your own account) following the next steps. I hope it helps. 

 

Invite a member

  1. Go to your account page
  2. Click Premium for Family in the menu on the left.
  3. Select an Empty slot
  4. Click INVITE WITH LINK or enter the Spotify email address of the person you want to invite and click SEND INVITE.

A confirmation email will be sent when a new member is successfully added to the Premium for Family subscription.
