My Question or Issue

When I try to log in through Google, it says: Something went wrong. I don't remember the password. I try to reset the password and it says: the account is not linked to Spotify. I try to register again: the account is already in use, do you want to log in? I don't understand, is the account linked or not??? It logs in normally under my son's account. Is it possible to delete all my data from Spotify and create an account again? Where should I write?

Hey @Lexmem, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

I am sorry to hear that - in this case, I’d recommend creating a Spotify password to log in with your email address instead.

1. Go to the password reset form.
2. Enter your Google email address.
3. Check your inbox for an email from Spotify to reset your password.

This means you don’t need to use the Google button to log in. You can enter your Google email address and the new password.
