Can login on mobile device but not windows (same credentials)

My Question or Issue

Hi, I recently updated to windows 11 from 10. on 10 I could login just fine however on 11 it refuses to log me in or reset my password. I haven't had any problems with any other logins, just Spotify. I downloaded another browser to see if that would fix the issue, no dice. I have restarted my computer and reinstalled Spotify too. Crazy thing is I can log in with the same credentials just fine on my phones app and browser, the same browser I use for my computer (Firefox). I don't want to disclose my email in such a public space, if there is a more private setting I would happy disclose it there.

Thanks for reaching out on the Community!

This is quite odd, indeed. First thing we would suggest here is trying to reset your password - this will ensure it's synced in the system and should let you use it on desktop as well.

Another thing to try would be to find your username in the mobile app which can be a string of letters and numbers and use that and your password to log in. 

If you still have trouble after that can you let us know if you only can't log in on the web player or on the desktop as well? 

Also, what error message are you getting when trying to log in? We'd appreciate a screenshot, but as you say make sure to not include any personal info.
