I am currently using only my Google account linked to Spotify. However, there is a problem logging in with Google, so I cannot log in. And now I'm writing this post using a friend's account. I tried to sign up for Spotify with my Google account, but it failed because the email address was already in use. And I tried to solve it by resetting my password, but the password reset email didn't arrive. I looked in my spam folder and all filtered out labels, but it wasn't there. What should I do? Please HELP

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

There is a difference, between an account created using "Sign up with Google" and an account created using a gmail email and password. 

It's possible that you already have a Spotify account, associated with that email address, but the account might be blocked, due to suspicious activity, or if you've been abroad for more than 14 days, without updating the country on your account.

It's best that you contact our customer support team through one of the channels here. They should be able to help unlock your account or free the email address. 

Alternatively, you can use another email address to sign up.

I can no longer sign into Spotify with my Google account. I tried to troubleshoot using my Gmail email address to reset the password but it said there's no account with that email address. Then I tried to set up an account with my Gmail email address to see if that was the issue and it said the email address is already associated with an account.failed because the email address was already in use. I'm using my old email address to get to this community board because I can't find any other way to get help with this. Can you please help me get my login with Google working again?

My Question or Issue

I created a new account a few weeks ago & I selected to log in with my Google account. Since last week, I'm getting the message "Oops! Something went wrong". If I try to reset my password, it says that my email is not linked to a Spotify account.. I can't go into my settings to change my login method. What should I do?

I can't log in to my account, I'v tried with other devices too but it won't work either. Everytime I want to log in with google (since I created my account with google) it appears an error has ocurred. I've already tried to deactivate my actual acount and create a new one but it won't let me either, I also tried restarting my laptop and deleting all the cookies. I don't think it's the internet connection either because I had already tried connecting to different networks but nothing seems to work, if you have been through a similar problem or know how to solve this problem , please answer, I would be grateful.
