Can't buy subscription

Can't buy subscription

Hi,

I can't buy Spotify Unlimited anymore. I've always chosen to pay with PayPal (without credit card). But now this won't work anymore. I only can choose PayPal with credit card... But I dont have one.

Greetings!

Hi there,

To pay through PayPal, please make sure it follows these conditions.

Who's your Spotify Star?

One of the conditions is that a credit card is required for the PayPal account. But i didn't need it before. The amount of 4,99 got always written off my bank account. Why isn't that the case anymore?? And all the other conditions are complied. My PayPal account is verfied and its the same country as my Spotify account.

I can't really go too much into it, I'm afraid. However, if you don't have a credit/debit card, you can get a Spotify giftcard. You can read more about them here.

You are not the only one to report this recently, so it is weird. A credit card has always been required to use PayPal to pay for Spotify, so I guess you have just been amazingly lucky up until now!

Well, I have to change to another music streaming service then 😞 its a pity, i did like Spotify.

Having to go to a store or having to buy online giftcards just doesn't do it for me, either fix it and accept delayed payments again, or be happy losing an other customer.... which is sad but true.
