My Question or Issue

Hi um... Today I opened the Spotify app and then a screen with some phrases about Spotify Premium popped up and I was not able to see my account... I clicked the button that looked like a gear then I found my old account which there is none of my recent music and playlists. I think I logged into my recent account with my phone number but right now I'm living in another country(not my home country) so I'm not sure what phone number I logged into. My phone is iPhone 13 and I'm not sure about the password to my account. Can you please please please help me find my recent account?

Fun that I get pinged for this.

Hey, @SY율
Welcome to the Spotify Community, and thanks for reaching out to us!

First of all, I recommend that you double-check the details of this account you're currently logged in, just to avoid any further confusion. You can take a look at the account details on the app settings.

Regarding the other account you mentioned, to access it, you need to have access to the phone number that is linked to that, because access via mobile requires a One-time code you get through SMS, instead of a password (except if you had set any up with an email address). Last, but not least, considering you're currently in a different country, you probably don't see the option to log in with a phone number, because it is not a login method support there.

To be very honest, my recommendation is that you continue to use this new account you created with the email address and that you search for the other account's username to find any public playlist you might want to save to your new account library.

To avoid any confusion in the future, you can review the login details for this new account link it to a valid email address, and use a password you can remember in the future, so you won't lose it if you change your device or move to another country.

Stay awesome! 🎶

I know it's too much to follow, so if you have any further questions or if you need anything else, let me know! I'd love to help!
