My Question or Issue

I am trying to change my credit card details, and in the process Spotify is asking to charge an amount to my new credit card. I never came across this. Anybody else experienced a similar issue? Can that be avoided?

You can update your payment details from this link. If you still have Premium time left from your last payment, you won't be charged again. The next payment will be on your billing date.

 

However, bear in mind that when you add a new payment method, you may see an authorization charge for a nominal amount appear on your account. This authorization charge allows us to verify the validity of your payment method. It’s only a temporary hold and will disappear within a short time. It's usually a charge for a lower price.

 

If you see a message saying you will be charged for your subscription again, could you send us a screenshot of that? Just make sure your payment details or any other private details are not visible in the picture.
