My Question or Issue
For the past week or so I have received numerous notification emails of "New login to Spotify" when I am not using or activating Spotify at all. When I first received these, I changed both my Facebook password and my Spotify password and logged out of all accounts. I still am receiving these emails!
I have not noticed any unusual activity on my Spotify (e.g. songs appearing in my history that I haven't listened to) and the new passwords are unique and not used on any other sites. The emails all list the United States as the location.
What is going on? Is it possible one of my devices is, unknown to me, continually logging in in the background or something? Are these spurious emails? Should I be concerned about my account and Spotify's security?

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.
Yes, I've been to that help page and I've already done all of those steps. It did not stop me from getting the emails! And there is no indication that anyone else actually *has* taken over my account, aside from the emails.
Just chiming in. I'm getting same thing. However, one day it was from another state, and one day it was in turkey. I've changed my pw and reset and disconnected everything.

Obviously this is a problem on Spotify's end. I am getting these emails all the time as well. I'm not going to go through the process of changing my password when others here have done so and it hasn't helped. Am I going to have to start marking your emails as spam in order to stop them from coming through?
I've been getting a email every day this past week. I am in the US but logins have been in Spain, Germany, United States, Panama. I don't even have Premium anymore, so I don't know what they think they're going to get from me if this is, in fact, a legit scamming attempt. I'm not changing my password every dang day.
I've been getting these emails too, every day from a different country, Spain, France, Italy, Thailand, etc. I've removed access from most apps and changed passwords and I'm still getting them. I haven't noticed any unusual activity, even logged out from all devices, so this is clearly a Spotify glitch, which I hope they fix quickly cuz it's getting annoying. And who knows... maybe one day someone logs in and we'll just think it's another spam email.
Has anyone found a solution to this as I've started getting these every 8 hrs or so ...
I've also started getting these emails today but with the subject line "Get back into your Spotify account". I've had three of these emails over the space of roughly 18 hours. Not sure if it is a glitch or someone is trying to log into my account or not. They all contain a legit Spotify email as the sender - the only thing that I notice is different to an email that I've requested to be sent from Spotify to change my password and the ones I've been getting is the size in font. The ones from Spotify where I've requested to change my password, have my password change and logged in on a new device were all in a bigger font whereas the continual 'Get back into your account' has a smaller font. The length of the links it gives are different too, which then makes me think a very well done scam email, but everything looks much the same.
And yes, I've changed my password and followed the tips to create a secure account as much as possible, but it's still happening.
I’m in Germany. Have been getting mails with “So kommst du wieder in dein Spotify konto“ every 2 hours like clockwork since day before yesterday. Yes, I’ve changed my password. Yes, I’ve disconnected any 3rd party account. Please do not come back with an autogenerated reply and a link to the help page. Instead, tell us if this is a scam or if you have a glitch on your side? Please sort your sh!t out—it’s getting beyond annoying.
I’ve had 3 of these emails in the past 8hrs from 3 different countries, no random changes to my account, I don’t want to go the route of changing passwords when it clearly seems a glitch, is there any resolution to this issue?
