Deleting Facebook

So I'm about to delete my facebook account, but I want to keep my Spotify tied to my current email address, I originally signed up for Spotify via Facebook. Here is what I have done so far and my problem,

I logged into Facebook, changed my email address to an old one I had.

Logged into Spotify noticed the email had updated in my profile to the one I set in Facebook.

Now I went to make a new Spotify account using my current email address and it says its already tied to an account.

Is there a way around this or can someone from Spotify untie my email address so that I can re-use it on a new account?

If you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form they can do that for you. They are also pretty swift at moving playlists between accounts if you ask nicely. 😉

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
