Email address changed without notice

My Question or Issue

My daughter has had a Spotify account for years, and the email account has been her icloud email address. This ends with icloud.com. When opening her account settings now, her email account ends with icloud.net. She could not have changed this herself, as she has no way of confirming this address. 

Has she been hacked? 

what can be done to change her email address back? There are NO customer support to contact in Spotify, so this forum is our only hope.
