Gift Card Date

I received a one year gift card subscription last year, and my premium account is set to finish in January 2017 I think. Since my birthday is soon I was considering asking for another gift card for a yearly Spotify Subscription. I was wondering if I reedemed it would my Spotify Premium be valid until January 2018 or simply a year after the date I initially reedemed the code although I still have a valid subscription running?

Any amount of time that you add to your Spotify account will stack-up, meaning that the new time will be added up to what you already have.
