I can't log in to spotify through Facebook while using my phone

Okay so every time I'm on the log in or sign up screen and i select log in through Facebook, it just says "Logging in, please wait" and then it hits me and instead I'm creating a new account and can't just log into my old account. I got a new phone 2 weeks ago and I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or what's happening but help would be appreciated

Could you restart the device and then try again logging in to your account?

If there are no changes, you can send us screenshots of what you're seeing. Just make sure that there's no sensitive/private info visible. We'll look into this further.

Okay so here are the pics i took,the one screenshot is from my samsung a7 and i took the rest of the pictures through it because i couldn't take screenshots on the log in page on my xiaomi redmi 9 that's on MIUI 12.0.1.0 Stable. As soon as I am on the the log in or sign up page and click log in through Facebook, it shows me a "Logging in" for like a second (which you can see that in the picture) and then it switches to "create account" (that's the other picture). 

Honestly at this point i am starting to believe that it's something wrong with the UI or something or the compatibility between spotify and this version of MIUI

Thanks for sending us this info. 

Just to make sure, when you try to log in using the blue "Log in via Facebook" button, are you logged in to the Facebook app in your phone?

On another note, could you head over to your Account page and check in Privacy settings if the "Process my Facebook data" option is toggled on?

Lastly, would you mind trying again with a different internet connection?

Okay yeah that was the problem, i was logged in another facebook account, once i changed it it automatically logged me in so the problem was solved. Also sorry, i though something was wrong because on my old phone i would get a pop up window to log in unlike on my new phone so that was my fault.
