My Question or Issue

When I signed up I only used my phone number, now I'm trying to use Spotify on my laptop and I'm failing miserably, because I don't have email address and password.

Hello @ui5!

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Community. As you mentioned, you can’t use your phone number to log into the desktop app. I'd recommend creating a Spotify password to log in with an email address instead:

1. Log in to your account page with your phone number.
2. Click EDIT PROFILE and add an email address to your account.
3. Use your email address to create a password.
