I had to deactivate my facebook due to harassment.

Solved!

I had to deactivate my facebook due to harassment.

I just upgraded to Spotify Premium a few days ago, but yesterday due to some harassment/stalking issues I deactivated my Facebook. I originally signed up with Spotify via Facebook. Is there a way to convert my account from a Facebook one to a regular Spotify one?

If no, can I create a regular Spotify account and my premium/playlists be sort of "moved" over?

I would be willing to re-activate Facebook very temporarily just to login to Spotify/prove that it's my account, but I do not want to use that account anymore. I just paid for a month of premium 2-3 days ago, and it doesn't seem very fair to have that wasted 😕

Thanks!

I have the same issue. I shut down my facebook and converted over to my page. Then I opened up a new personal profile. Now spotify just shows my user id number in my profile. I want to change it over to my new facebook account and not loose my playlists etc. Would love to know how to do this, thanks

For anyone else with a similar issue:

As MattSuda said, contacting support was the way to go.

They switched my playlists and saved music over to my new account. They were unable to give me credit for the premium I had paid for, but I was eligible for another "free trial" period so that basically covered what I paid for. Spotify support is awesome - super helpful and quick to settle the issue.
