Is there a limit to how many offline playlists i can create

Is there a limit to how many offline playlists i can create

Hey so been waiting a long time for spotify to beable to sync your libary offline and browse through it sorting by artistand album ect just like on the ipods libary, but this doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon so in the mean time i thought up a soloution, what if I just create a playlist for each artist containing only their tracks and then any non artist playlist I'll just put a 0 at the start of the name to make them easier to find. Is this a viable soloution in the mean time or is there anything limiting me like the number of offline playlist or anything else you could think of, Thanks for reading.

Hi,

You can order your playlists on Spotify by clicking and dragging playlists up/down your list on your computer, which will make it easier to find certain playlists; and if your iPod is connected to the same Wi-fi as Spotify on your PC/Mac then it will change the order of the playlists on your iPod as well.

Currently the best way is as you say to put certain albums/artists in different playlists, however if you want to listen to all of them in one then you can drag and drop all the songs into one playlist, and reorder the songs in that playlist in a way which suits you. If all your songs are in one playlist, you can search for the track name or artist in the playlist search bar, and it will display the songs that match your search criteria, and if you leave that search (filter) there, you can play only the songs by that artist/album which are displayed.

There is currently no limit on the number of offline playlists you can have, but there is a limit of 3,333 songs which can be synced offline to spotify at any one time. However there is no limit to the number of imported local files (which were on your computer as a .mp3 file) that you can sync to your devices at any one time.

Feel free to let me know if there's anything else I can do to help 🙂
