Merged Facebook/Normal accounts, Premium and playlists are gone.

Hi,

 

I recently found out that I had two accounts, one Facebook account (Premium, the one I was using daily) and an "abandoned" normal account which was free. I then went ahead and tried merging them into one since I don't like dealing with Facebook when it comes to things like accounts for other services.

 

This partially worked, now I end up on the proper account no matter if I log in via Facebook or normally. However, apparently it didn't transfer over my playlists, nor my premium subscription to the normal account.

 

Do I still have a premium subscription somewhere or has it been disabled and I have to resubscribe? Also, is there any way to transfer my playlists to the normal account? I still have the contents of the Facebook-only accounts' user folder if that helps.

Hey!

If you drop the Spotify Staff a line they'll be able to merge the two accounts for you.

 

You can either message them here, or if you're feeling a little social you can drop them a DM on Twitter

My accounts appear to be merged already, since I now land in the same one no matter how I log in, and can't access the old Facebook account at all. I've dropped a message to the staff either way, maybe they can restore the lost playlists. I also have no idea if I need to resubscribe now or not, as I'd like to prevent being billed twice. So I guess I'll wait and see what they say now.
