Payment Failed with Paypal - NEED HELP

Payment Failed with Paypal - NEED HELP

We have acouple accounts in this house and one of them was using a Paypal account that is no longer available.

Today we got a payment failed message and when you log into the account it.payment failed.PNG

We reedemed a 12 month gift card today and it shows in the reciepts section of the account but we are still showing this red box, and I am unable to remove the payment option for the paypal.

We don't want to put any credit card info into the account and will just continue to use gift cards for this account.  Is this possible?

I find it very difficult dealing with issues regarding spotify when you can't actually get ahold of someone regarding payment stuff and really wouldn't think alot of people would be comfortable talking to people on a public forum about Payment stuff.

But anyways I am trying this to see if I can get it resolved for this one account.

You are correct that this is best dealt with in private.  Please use the following steps:

  1. Go to https://support.spotify.com/us/contact-spotify-support/
  2. Click "Subscription", then click "Unable to Subscribe - Payment Failed", then click "I still need help"
  3. Type all of your information into the box and hit submit.

Most importantly, if you get an automatic email telling you to first ask the Spotify community, reply directly to that message.  It will be received by a Spotify representative and they will get back to you as soon as they can.

Sorry for the issues.

Nick
