Playlists lost due to connecting Facebook to new account

Solved!

Playlists lost due to connecting Facebook to new account

Hello guys,

I need help. I made my spotify account many years ago using my Facebook information. So I always used to log in using my Facebook account information. I never had a Spotify UserID/password. It was always Facebook loging info which I used. Recently, I wanted to disable my Facebook account and so I thought of making a new Spotify account (this one which I am using right now) and get all my playlists from my old Facebook based Spotify account. While trying to do that, I linked my new Spotify account (GeoGamer87) to my Facebook account. After that, I can not find any of my old playlists. I can not even login with the old Facebook account information. Its as if all that information is lost and reset.

Kindly help me in this. How can I get my playlists back? If anyone needs more information from me, please let me know.

Hey @geogamer87

I suggest you contact support so they can help you get the playlists back

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

Hello @MattSuda

Thank your for your reply. I have contacted Spotify Support and as you said, I did get a automated reply and have replied to that. Hopefully I get a solution soon. I will post it here if I do.

Thanks again 🙂

The awesome Spotufy Support Team has solved my problem. All my Music has been transferred to my new account and my old account has now been closed. Thanks a lot Spotify Support 🙂
