Spotify says i'm in a different country than on my profile, but i'm not.

Spotify says i'm in a different country than on my profile, but i'm not.

When I first made my account i had it set to US becasue that's where it was, I went to the UK last year for about a month and changed it to UK. When i came back i changed it back to US and it had been working fine, I lived in one state (washington) and paid for premium, but then i very recently moved to a different state (alabama) but before i left I cancled my subscription. My computer had been logging in automatically and it had been fine but my computer messed up yesterday and i had to "refresh" it and it deleted all of my programs. I re-installed spotify and tried to log on and it says "your country does not match the one in your profile" I went to my profile and it says US, it said the old zip code so i updated it to my alabama zipcode but it still doesn't work. I have already checked my IP adress and it says it's where I am.

OK! I was giving up and decided to make another account and so i clicked "sign up" inside the spotify client and it took me to a UK signup page... So i guess it means the problem is with my client? I'm going to try and reinstall, which is annoying because I have very slow internet.

 

Edit: I reinstalled spotify and it still didn't fix the problem.  Until I get a response on here I guess I'll just have to make a new account.
