My Question or Issue

Hi, I moved to the UK from New Zealand and I'm trying to join a family plan, but Spotify keeps saying that I can't until I change my region to the UK. I tried to do this in the settings but because I was already on a paid plan, it told me to change my card to a UK card in order to move my account from the NZ region to the UK. I did change my card, but it still won't let me change my region to the UK. Am I missing some other step?

Thanks for reaching out.

 

As stated here, the changes will take effect from your next billing date, meaning your country setting won't update until then 🙂

 

If you're planning on joining a Premium Family plan as a member, you can cancel your subscription and wait until you're back on the Free plan to update your country setting through a dropdown menu. That way, you won't be paying for Premium for another month.
