My Question or Issue

I only use Spotify very occasionally so I have a free account.  I understand that with a free account I can only play in shuffle, but when I search for an album and then click the shuffle play button I'm getting all songs from the artist, not just the album I chose? Is this a change or am I doing something wrong as I don't remember that happening before?

As you're rocking the free version of Spotify, what you describe sounds as an expected behavior. Keep in mind that on the free version the picking and playing of tracks (also in albums) is limited and available only on selected playlist entries, otherwise the playback continues in shuffled order which is rather global and not limited inside the playlist/album itself.
