Yesterday while i was listening to music, i got the message on the bottom right that someone else is playing music on an iphone. Also, i saw that he had created some playlists. I changed immediatly my password but this happened one or two months ago. I dont know how, spotify is connected only on my main pc and my smartphone.

The guy's name who created those playlists appeared on the "connect to device" button while he was listening music to his device.

Hey @gavros10,

Thanks for getting in touch on the Community! We're here to help.

Firstly, we'd recommend:

- Signing out everywhere here: https://www.spotify.com/account/overview/
- Change your password: https://www.spotify.com/password-reset/

- Change your WiFi password if possible

If this doesn't help, give Support a shout here:
Email - https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-support/

They'll be able to help more backstage, don't worry 🙂
Thanks,

/M

I have had the same issue today, and I had it previously, i've tried to reset the password and everything but it happened again. How is this possible? Sometimes I also see some playlists that i've never played

I did all these steps

It has happened already two times and i am afraid it will happen again. I dont know how this guy gained access.

His name appears on the "playlist creator", can you do something to check him?

I still have the same issue, even if I changed my Facebook password (i signed up to spotify from Facebook) someone is still using my spotify account. I can see the device on the offline devices list.

Can someone from Spotify help us?

Change your password and if that doesn't work call support
