Spotify Attempting Login with Old (unlinked) Facebook

Hi All,

I have an issue with my subscription where it keeps reactivating my old facebook account 😐

This Spotify subscription is quite new - as of last week. The facebook account was never introduced during signup, as it was deactivated for several months prior to signing up to Spotify. So the login is the standard username/password.

Spotify is currently being used on my PC and android phone.

The email and login (and passwords) associated to Spotify is completely different to what I had used for Facebook, yet I keep receving emails (old email) indicating that there is a facebook login alert for Spotify. These alerts only started occuring since the Spotify signup last week.

My phone was reformatted for custom firmware - so it cannot be this. My PC may have some cache from a period that I was active on facebook. Is there some sort of caching that's involved in the backend for Spotify?

Any other steps I can take to prevent this?

Only thing I can think of is changing passwords on everything, followed by a deactivation.
