Student discount with UNidays

I've been approved on Unidays and click through to the link the company provides. 

It subsequently gives me the message: "It appears that you are not eligible for the discounted product that you are trying to purchase. If you'd like you can still upgrade your account to premium at any time."

I see this is a semi common issue without any noticeable resolutions. How come I'm not getting the discount?

Any clarification or resolution? 

I'm considering cancelling - or at the very least reducing - my spotify subscription as a result.
