My Question or Issue

Need an option to easily switch between my accounts. As subscribing podcasts _and_ listening music creates a mess and the random plays contains podcast episodes as well (totally useless). So i want to switch between my "music" profile and "podcast" profile (both are part of the same family plan).

no,logoff/logon is not the solution as i use multiple devices. Just imagine netflix or any proper streaming service. You can easliy switch between profiles.

Voted. However never saw any ideas came into life (to be honest i see no improvements in the last 10+ years. No,the autogenerared playlists are not improvements)

Lol. 333 idea in the last 10 yrs. (2.7/month) and the majority of them are minor improvements. But the threads are full with issues/ideas never be implemented.
Mark podcast as played. Make shuffle button icon discernible for color blind people. Adjust audio speed in podcast. Just a few "improvements" which required less than 1 hr of coding.

That's not a solution. Not even a workaround,do see no reason why was marked as solution. Also,normally the one who asked the question can accept a solution and not a random admin. Especially as it's not a solution

Yes,that's what we called as workaround (as it not fix the issue). So no,that's not a solution. (Solution definition is a resolution for a problem)

Please remove the accepted solution as it's not! Also,it's incorrect to mark as solution by an admin if the requestor not agree with it

@waces, hi, what you're looking for is already possible on the TV app. There should be an icon of which account you want to continue with whenever you launch the app. Not via Chromecast, the native TV app.

Also,the tv app was never mentioned (i assume the user base of the tv app is significantly lower than the mobile or desktop app)

Currently my 4 year olds music is messing up my music algorithms and I'm considering the upgrade to family premium. But, I want to switch between profiles quickly and easilly, otherwise there's no point spending money on the upgrade. Spotify, copy the Netflix profile switch idea please.

My wife gets on my computer and switches Spotify to her profile and I have absolutely no idea how to switch it back to mine.  

and right now she's not available to switch it back herself.  I agree with everyone else, there should be an easy way to switch between profiles.
